It is an internal search engine that allows ecommerce users to find what they are looking for, automatically and effortlessly. This is possible thanks to natural language processing and artificial intelligence technologies.

Which will your mission be?

• As part of their engineering team you will join a tightly-knit group of extremely talented software engineers, who enjoy solving hard problems and work as a team to innovate. You will be part of a smart and experienced team with a broad range of skills and a really sociable and positive attitude
• You will work in Doofinder's backend team developing and maintaining backend systems with tools such as Python, Django, Ruby, Erlang or Elixir, and using technologies like Amazon Web Service (AWS) and assuming the role of software engineer with a good dose of performance engineering
• Work within your team and with others to ensure the overall vision of the project is being fulfilled

What do you need to be successful?

• Permission to work within the EU is a must
• Demonstrable experience of 1-2 years in Back-end environments like Elixir, Erlang, Ruby, Python
• Collaborates well in a team environment
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to new environments
• Experience with a variety of Amazon Web Services (AWS)

How the hiring process will be?

• Interview with the HR team
• Coffee with the team. Where you can meet two people from the technical team in an informal chat to discuss technical aspects and projects
• Technical test where you can choose between solving a technical test or showing them one of your repositories that you are proud of.
• Video call with the technical team to comment on your tech test or your own repository and share opinions
• Final interview with HR Manager and CTO (Cultural fit)
