Our team is looking for passionate professionals to join our services team as a Technical Lead. This position is full time remote, however in order to attend meetings with some of our key clients when needed, it is required that the location of the candidate is Rome, Italy.
You will be joining a team entrusted by enterprise clients in numerous industries to help identify, design, and implement solutions for their critical business challenges. Job Specifications
The Technical Lead position plays a critical role on the Entando Professional Services team, working directly with clients to define requirements and design applications as well as leading technical teams. The ideal candidate is proficient in both front and back end technologies with a deep understanding of Java, React/Angular, web architectures, UX design principles and practices, database technologies, cloud environments, containers, microservices, agile and DevOps methodologies as well as continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices. The candidate should have strong people skills including the ability to communicate with both business and technical teams. The selected candidate must also be able to provide mentorship, coordination and support for peers.

Level of Expertise
A significant amount of experience (5+ years) in a Principal or Lead role including mentorship or management of less senior team members

Requirements

• 5+ years development or experience designing, developing and maintaining large scale web applications
• Expert level Java
• Experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift
• Working knowledge of frontend technologies including JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5, Bootstrap
• Working knowledge of an ES6 javascript framework (React, Angular or Vue)
• Experienced with Scrum and Agile practices
• Experienced in TDD
• Knowledge of object oriented design principles
• Knowledge of design patterns
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment concepts
• Very comfortable with distributed version control (Git and GitHub)
• Very comfortable with Maven
• Working knowledge of Spring
• Working knowledge of RDBMS and ORMs
• Working knowledge of JSON and JAXB (XML)
• Working knowledge of RESTful JSON APIs
• Experience with SQL database (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, other RDBMS)
• Working knowledge of Linux
• Fluent spoken and written English communication skills
• Understanding of Microservice Architecture Style
• Understanding of Micro Frontend Architecture Style
• Experience creating CI/CD pipelines and with CI tools (Jenkins/Tekton/Travis/etc.)
• Familiar with the Open Source lifecycle

• Experience with OpenShift
