Description
Our client is an American publicly traded retail company. The company produces products ranging from the mid-range to the luxury segments. We are currently starting a new long-term project aiming to first redesign and re-architect their B2C site and in parallel add significant new functionality. The product is based on SF Site Genesis architecture, and the targeted system will be based on modern Storefront Reference Architecture. The product will be used globally.

Responsibilities

• Develop Digital Consumer experiences based on a foundation of SFCC
• Write clean and well-structured code
• Perform code reviews, and refactoring and take responsibility for the quality of the code.
• Define best practices to implement non-functional requirements like performance and scalability of the e-commerce solution
• Collaborate with team members to improve the product
• Assist with requirements definition, specifications, design, development, and timelines for key initiatives, and participate in client meetings.
• Diagnose and solve technical problems related to commerce implementation

Must have skills

• At least 3 years of experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud Platform as a Front-end Developer
• Understanding of architectural principles and coding patterns of Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA)
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Git, Node, SASS, jQuery, Bootstrap 4
• JavaScript Frameworks such as JQuery, Node, Angular
• Familiarity with the jQuery library and JSON syntax
• Proficient knowledge & hands-on experience using ISMLs, SCSS, Bootstrap, client-side JS and setting up Business Manager Configuration

Nice to have

• Site Genesis experience (experience using Pipelines)
• Experience in working and executing build scripts using Webpack/Grunt/Gulp
