A todos nos pasa cometer errores, subestimar o sobrestimar una situaci\u00f3n; volver a enfrentarla en fr\u00edo, con una mente cr\u00edtica, ayuda a encontrar respuestas que &#8220;en caliente&#8221; a menudo no surgen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nosotros mismos cambiamos con el tiempo y, con nosotros, cambian nuestras prioridades, nuestros objetivos y nuestros valores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El an\u00e1lisis de hoy est\u00e1 dedicado a una serie de eventos ocurridos a finales de 2023, que me hicieron reflexionar sobre lo dif\u00edcil que es hacer que las personas cambien, incluso cuando se les presenta una propuesta atractiva, o al menos as\u00ed lo consideraba yo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-integrando-nuevo-talento-en-el-equipo\">Integrando nuevo talento en el equipo<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>De vez en cuando me toca integrar a mi equipo de desarrollo con nuevas personas, ya sea para reemplazar a quienes han dejado la empresa o para ampliar el equipo para nuevos proyectos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dejar una empresa es una pr\u00e1ctica normal que, como ya he descrito, todo gerente deber\u00eda prever, pero que a menudo se subestima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para citar a Jane Austen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;Nadie es demasiado viejo para cambiar, porque el cambio es la \u00fanica constante de la vida.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>No debemos alarmarnos si uno de nuestros colaboradores decide cambiar, sino que debemos estar preparados para gestionar el cambio, a veces de manera repentina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-fantastico-pero-donde-esta-el-problema\">Fant\u00e1stico, pero \u00bfd\u00f3nde est\u00e1 el problema?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El problema surgi\u00f3 durante la fase de selecci\u00f3n de los <a href=\"https:\/\/www.codemotion.com\/magazine\/es\/dev-life-es\/8-errores-comunes-que-cometen-los-desarrolladores-de-software-principiantes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">nuevos programadores<\/a> que no aceptaron mi propuesta. Y no: el motivo no era el salario, que era mayor y estaba en l\u00ednea con las demandas de los candidatos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>En el pasado pensaba que el salario era el principal motivo para impulsar a un programador a cambiar de empresa. Sin embargo, tuve que reconsiderarlo.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-enfocar-la-solicitud\">Enfocar la solicitud<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La b\u00fasqueda estaba orientada a un programador Java experimentado interesado en unirse a nuestro equipo de desarrollo para un producto de backend utilizado a nivel europeo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Muchos programadores odian trabajar en proyectos que no conocen o que no los estimulan. Hablar de inmediato sobre el proyecto y su visibilidad ayuda a que el candidato entienda la importancia y el impacto de su trabajo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Aspectos a considerar:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Tecnolog\u00eda<\/strong>: Trabajar con tecnolog\u00edas obsoletas es un desincentivo para muchos.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Evoluci\u00f3n del proyecto<\/strong>: Indicar que el proyecto est\u00e1 en constante evoluci\u00f3n es un incentivo.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Salario<\/strong>: Ser claro desde el principio evita falsas expectativas.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Pese a esta claridad, varios candidatos prometedores rechazaron nuestra oferta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;No me siento preparado.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-cuando-el-salario-no-es-suficiente\">Cuando el salario no es suficiente<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El motivo principal por el que algunos candidatos rechazaron nuestra propuesta fue no sentirse preparados para el cambio: el trabajo actual, aunque menos estimulante y pagado, era seguro y conocido. El cambio era percibido como un riesgo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Esto me llev\u00f3 a pensar<\/strong> que, incluso si alguien no est\u00e1 satisfecho con su situaci\u00f3n, si no est\u00e1 predispuesto al cambio, no lo har\u00e1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-estrategias-para-superar-el-miedo-al-cambio\">Estrategias para superar el miedo al cambio:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Peque\u00f1os Pasos<\/strong>: Cambiar de forma gradual puede ser m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mentalidad de Crecimiento<\/strong>: Enfrentar los desaf\u00edos como oportunidades de mejora.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Visualizaci\u00f3n<\/strong>: Imaginar los beneficios futuros de un cambio.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-los-errores-que-cometi\">Los errores que comet\u00ed<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Es f\u00e1cil culpar a los candidatos cuando no aceptan una oferta, pero es m\u00e1s inteligente reflexionar sobre qu\u00e9 fall\u00f3 en la presentaci\u00f3n de la propuesta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quiz\u00e1s el &#8220;no me siento preparado&#8221; de algunos candidatos ocultaba algo m\u00e1s: \u00bftal vez no era lo que buscaban?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La atracci\u00f3n de la empresa para el candidato, o <strong>atractivo corporativo<\/strong>, puede marcar la diferencia. Mostrar que una empresa ofrece crecimiento, formaci\u00f3n y un ambiente estimulante es clave para que los candidatos elijan quedarse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-conclusion\">Conclusi\u00f3n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Pensar que solo ofreciendo un salario mayor se puede motivar un cambio es un error que he cometido a lo largo de mi vida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El mayor trabajo de cada gerente deber\u00eda ser hacer que su empresa sea atractiva, que los candidatos vean una oportunidad de crecimiento y de valor.
