Codemotion Madrid 2026, held on April 20\u201321 at La Nave, was packed with talks where attendees reflected on how AI is impacting our daily lives and reshaping the way we work, do business, and even live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the talk \u201cFrom Vibe Coding to AI-Driven Society: How AI Is Rewriting Work, Business, and Everyday Life,\u201d Gabriele Negro, Chief Technology Officer at altermAInd, explained how AI and vibe coding have evolved from being just tools to completely transforming the development lifecycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the talk, he reviewed recent developments in AI and how they are forcing companies to rethink the way they operate, with a particular focus on the importance of continuous AI training to remain competitive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Context of the talk<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

GenAI, LLM, Vibe Coding, AI agents, RAG, prompt\u2026 All these terms, which just a few years ago were unfamiliar to most of us, have become part of the everyday vocabulary of any professional in the tech industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rise of generative artificial intelligence has been so fast and disruptive that it has transformed not only the tools we use, but also the very nature of creative and technical work, blurring the boundaries between what a machine can do and what requires the human mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, a developer no longer just writes lines of code, but builds software side by side with AI tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A designer no longer spends hours generating variations of the same visual concept, but delegates that work to generative models while focusing their energy on creative direction and aesthetic judgment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similarly, a marketing professional no longer writes from scratch, but orchestrates, refines, and validates what AI proposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Vibe Coding to AI-Driven Society<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In this way, and with barely any time to fully process it, AI is moving from being a complement to becoming the core around which professional activity is structured. And while this clearly brings a large number of advantages, it also introduces challenges and uncomfortable questions that cannot be ignored.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Data, security, hallucinations, effectiveness, quality, bias, transparency, accountability, judgment, technological dependence, and impact on employment\u2026 These are just some of the challenges that this revolution brings with it, and which any organization aiming to operate responsibly cannot afford to overlook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On top of all these questions, new developments constantly emerge, along with the fear of falling behind. Navigating this new paradigm is not easy, as there is no clear compass to help overcome the so-called analysis paralysis or, on the contrary, avoid major mistakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So how can we find that north, that guidance that allows us to move forward with clarity while keeping both opportunities and risks in sight?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
