Data Science

A data scientist has mathematical and statistical knowledge, often combined with a hacker approach to solving problems in innovative ways.

S/he is involved in the design of data modelling processes for which s/he creates algorithms, predictive models, automation systems and data frameworks.

A Data Scientist develops new tools and methods to extract the information an organization needs to solve complex problems and applies critical-thinking skills and business intuition to understand the implications of the data.

Her/his areas of expertise include data governance, automation, and prediction. A Data Scientist is often a Data Engineer, a System Architect or an AI expert. Typically, s/he can work as a Researcher, a Data Analyst and a Data Manager.
